Long spell of water proofing and under coating.

So I am flicking from Trident build to Windermere Gondola.

I have coated the inside and outer hull with resin before starting to undercoat…

Once its dry will rub down..

Once its rubbed down will spray coat hull red.. first time using spray gun….

Ian. Like it, very neat what running gear are you contemplating?? (motor battery prop) ?

Doddle using a spray gun, just messy and time consuming..however if you want a superior finish it is the way to go. What paint are you spraying?

yes yes before anyone says it,,,the easy way to get a superior finish without loads of brushed coats and rubbing down etc etc

Hi Ashley…

Thanks for looking in and the encouraging comments.

I have been advised by Lancaster models that a 505 motor is ok, picture of the prop and rudder I am making.

As for the paint, I have not used the spray gun as yet and have got a tin of Halfords red undercoat to try, all a learning curve..lol

By the way… Ashley..

I have not got the batteries yet, I have still a lot of thinking and questions on that area..

as I would like to Build the Slipway AZIZ tug in the future, so would like to look at a battery charge and batteries for inter active use.

Have a coulpe of pictures to up load of the Trident, when I had a test run with the Halford spray paint.
