Larry, can I say what a very nice bottom you have there, smooth, shiny and very RED. And large come to think of it.

Its not red because of the accident is it?? I am fond of stabbing myself with the scalpel I use for fiddly work, so you are not alone!

                          Hi Larry! nice boat!

I'm new to all this and have just got my hands on some sea queen plans, I plan to build her with my son.

Never built a model boat before but done lots of work on the real thing.

Any advice anyone has would be appriciated. I have some spare blind slats laying around so may try to use them to save some cash.

My main question is what should i get to start the build? is it better to have all the parts first? or can i just build the hull and buy the finishing parts later? I'm not sure if i should buy the propshaft and rudder at least now so i can build them into the hull or do i drill the hull to add them later?

Sorry total newbie and dont have the plans to look at yet.

                              Hi Andrew

I'm afraid Larry has departed to the Big Boatshed in the sky, but I have plans if you private message me I can send you the pdf, I've just sold my kit built SQ via this forum, the plans only have side and plan view you would have to draft the bulkheads.

                              Regards Ray
