Hi Ashley thanks for your kind comments yes I’m going to use thin layers of undercoat started to take off all the cheap looking plastic rails and invested in some lovely metal ones , also I noticed in some photos that she had a small outside recreation area which consisted of a fenced off area , so today I started on that too . Also on close inspection I found on the bottom of the stand that originally this boat was made in a model boat shop in St Vincent at a model shop called Sargeant model boats ,and by a chap called Lawson Sargeant. So from St. Vincent to Kent .

Have started to strip her right back found some providence that she was originally built in St Vincent at Sargeant model boat shop in 1992 .!!! think she has had a couple of owners who have tried there best to maintain her and possibly update her , however I’m finding that some corners have been cut so I’m going to fully throw myself at this one . The Dragon ferry was a mess when I got her so this isn’t as bad however as you know yourself if it’s not right it’s just not right !!! So …. onwards we go …..

Hi Colin yes indeed… problem is once you start you start finding all sorts of corner cutting by former owners , like when you move to a new house lol .
