Good morning,

a bit more progress , frames cut out , build board set out, frames set to keel lay out,

first set back cropped up not much timber at frames 10 to 13 at keel bottom so will notch frames into keel timber dead wood, and make shortfall when planking starts , dont be shy to throw ideas at me ,

Back end sorted ..sorry stern…a bit of tuning to frames, deck line sorted , first plank fitted,…

closed work shop till after Christmas ,… of to Combe Martin for 3 days SANDY COVE HOTEL…

was going to cut across to Brixham to view trawler and take few snaps but weather as changed that roads flooded so some other time,,…will visit Ilfracombe in stead trawlers there i hope…

Hi Larry!

I have not watched the forum lately, sorry!

Yes, building the stern was difficult, but I used a bit too long planks and let them end outside the finished hull length. In that way I could fix the shape and then cut them at the right length. (I have some problem to explain it in english!!) See picture.

i have added a balsa block to stiffen up stern,
