Orkney fisherman´s boat

Hello everybody,

 

I´m building a waterline model of SS Earl Sigurd in 1:72 alongside Eday pier, to a photo I once or twice saw on the internet but can´t find any more.

 

I remember that on the other side of the pier was what looked as a fisherman´s boat, maybe similar to a 20ft double end boat, which I´d like to include in my diorama, but living in Orkneys´ antipodes, or at least another hemisphere, I can´t find any details of this tipe of boat.

 

I know it may be a little obsessive, but I´d like to make the boat as realistic as possible. Does anybody know any general details about those boats? Were they clinker built? Did they have any sails?
