Hi All,

I guess due to hibernation and other issues recently, not much activity on here

Anybody have any thought for next years new builds ? or just finishing current ones ?

Still carrying on with my paddler. Hull is now complete and motors installed. Next steps are the detachable paddle boxes and the wheels themselves.

Spot the silly mistake – it won't matter in practice.

Having completed two new steam launches in '21 I think I'll be going back to the railway for a while. I might just slide in one or two old repairs and modifications though just to keep my hand in. I've actually felt really pleased that I got a couple of long standing projects finally finished so I'm in more of a finishing off and tidying up frame of mind rather than a starting something new one!

Hi Ray

Mainly the current builds but I have done some more work on the drawings for the little Fairey Faun river/lake cruiser and have done enough to start building.

Have also bought a Tamiya Unimog to build at my mother's and will probably get and build that plane kit.

Have also got some DIY work to do, there's always something!

Colin….rudder?. Bow thruster….err…

I have a couple of tiny jobs to do on the last two projects but mainly it’s pictures I need, and that needs good weather and for me to be fit again!

Other than that there’s nowt on the books, yet.

Rudder is finished, just needs painting. I will fit it after I've sorted out the paddles. 4 mooring rope holes to be fitted (can't find any evidence of an anchor so far although there must have been one.) Original ship was fitted with a bow rudder but no room to fit a working one and anyway it would make the stem too fragile. I might 'suggest' one. Not decided yet. Model is only intended to be near scale.

Hi All,

Happy days ! as I suspected stuff going on out there

Chris we are not allowed to mention chores around the house !!

I must finish a few ongoing projects, but just looking at a Mini Sea Rover 18" long.

Picking up a set of TSB Veronica parts tomorrow watch this space !!

Slightly side tracked to flying models for the great summer i'm expecting next year, fingers crossed.
