Been over a year since I completed the dragon ferry so back on another project

Not as big as the Dragon ferry Dragon was 80 inches. Project QE2 is smaller at 65 inches , QE2 is soon underway for a full restoration with lots of fine detail to be added and will keep you all up to date with her fit out , Unlike Dragon she will be restored to pristine condition, just like she was in 1987 . Here’s the Dragon ferry before I regretfully let her go !!! , as you can see after a full restoration she was weathered to make her look as if she was at sea . Do miss this boat was a real labour of love … oh well onward to the QE2 !!!

I look forward to watching the refurb Tony. We had the pleasure, and privilege, of sailing from Sydney to Southampton on QE2 on the homeward leg of her final world cruise, in 2008. What a wonderful experience that was, she was a beautiful ship, sadly now languishing in Dubai. I took the photo from the tender as we were going ashore in Lahaina, on the island of Maui, Hawaii.
