she looks like the LADY OF MANN, or her sister Ben My Chree Paul, in their IOM pre war none white colours.???

Ben My Chree( translates to Girl of my Heart)

I sailed on both those ferries…………..round about 1946………………..and the Mersey was full of sunken ships!

Thats right Neil, its the Lady of Mann in 1931.

Bob another clue is she’s not english and served as a hospital ship.

Yes Colin is bang on as it is the QM2….those engine pods are super bits of engineering.

Ashley:…….no its to small for one of my builds.

Its an odd ship, but an easy model to build…….all you would need for the deck is a couple of basket balls.

I’m guessing its a Gas tanker little tip I learned when I started a similar thread on modelflying.co.uk save the pics to your album under a different file name or some will check the photo file properties and google the filename love this style of thread though Paul gives me something to do when paints drying on my latest model, the grass has been cut and all the diy’s been done

Hi Phil

If you are looking for something to do whilst the paint dries then try uploading these images into your cad system and having a play with them.

They are from a super website that has hundreds of ship images and is a real bonus to anybody who works with cad.
