Just decided on my next model……

A full sized replica of NOAHS ARK!

Anybody got the plans?………With this Springs weather ……It could be a prudent option!

Got a few tickets left for ……Giraffes……..donkeys……….warthogs,,,,,,,,and just two model boat builders and they`ve just been snapped up!……..by a crocodile!

This weather is an absolute pain!

I have spent all afternoon under the umbrella but not to keep out of the rain, it has been such a sunny day, I cracked open a few beers and chilled out on the patio

Isn’t Denton where that policeman Frost comes from? He’s a miserable bu**er it must be in the water.

Now then………here`s a snippet……..in the old days…….cannon balls rested on brass rings……..and if it was cold enough……the brass rings which were called ……"monkeys"……used to contract at a different rate as a cast iron cannon ball……..and used to fall off!……..hence the saying about being cold enough to freeze the……..etc

You are a dark horse I have just seen your latest missive printed in the new edition of Model Boats, a very nice picture of a rudder.

I also see that there is a great competition to win a Model Slipway 10 Hatch Coaster, but looking at the rules it seems that we are excluded from entering. That’s a shame as I really fancied having a go at that model.

Ah well that’s the price of our 15 minutes of fame.(or notoriety)

The sun is just setting in an azure sky with all the promise of another glorious day tomorrow, if this keeps up I will have to go sailing on Wednesday.

Ang on i’ll pop next door an ask me neighbour he’s building a  big boat an getting the animals in by 2 BUT the local Council have been round and said he dont have planing permission and its got to go !!!! now the RSPCA have just been round to see him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Can you just imagine that in the bible!!!!!! No sorry mate cant build that here you havent applied to the planning office put it in now and it will only take 40 days !!!
