Yes, insofar as model boating is ever mentioned in the popular press it is usually derided as grown men playing with toy boats…

Arghhh. Can’t see it on iPad. Seen it on msn feed on laptop but didn’t read.

Grown men playing with boats? Oh you mean..persons of experience operating handcrafted scale model watercraft…

Not sure I have seen many articles on GM playing with model cars or model aircraft either to be honest…only ones in uniform playing with drones.
