margam park

My friend , the mad marine , and I went up to margam park on saturday and enjoyed the excellent models the guys had on show esp the german battle ship , Scharnhorst i think . All models were of a high standard and my only comoplaint is that you have to be 1/2 mountain goat to get to the top lake BUT it was only after we got there we fiound a small railway going up there, would have saved the climb !!!!! Toilets at the bottom by car park and could have done with some ALOT NEARER !!!!

Apart from the weather a very good turn out and an excellent standard of boats and we were all in agreement that we should have a Welsh boat show in Barry at the knap , wonderful shallow lake , good car parking esp for overnighters asnd a snacks van close by .
