My friend gave me an ant but we couldn't decide whether it was male or female. She said to drop it into a glass of water. If it sank then it was a girl ant. If it floated then it was boy ant.

Have you been sniffing that aeroplane glue again

I used to love the smell of Balsa Cement

          Any progress to report?

          Bob

I got carried away again and had a trip to Buxton for a very sweet ME- 109, 60in wingspan with a cracking Saito 4 stroke engine.

I would take a photo but its blowing a gale here and I don't want it back in Buxton.

I remember balsa glue but do you remember the smell of Bostik?

Have you been sniffing more of that glue again?

How many planes do you need?

If my memory serves me right……Howard Boys designed a Mosquito model in the late 40`s!

                    Just showing off actually

What about the Hawker Typhoon model you were building?

                        Hi Bob

Not had the time to do much on any models.

                        Hi Dave

Yes thats the one, I keep looking for a built one but they are like hens teeth, I can see the credit card taking another battering soon especially whilst Sarik have their offers on.

                          Hi Paul,

I have all the drawings grp mouldings spinners & canopy for that Mossie ! It's a long build !!

It's half built up the loft 😄 I doubt if I'll ever finish it !

                          Regards Ray

                            Hi Ray

Do you have the full kit or are you building it from scratch?

                            Paul

                              Hi Paul,

From scratch 😄 I enjoy cutting out the bits ! The spring balanced under cart is a bit of a box of tricks in my view.

I have lost a couple of twins engine out ! Spun in 😯

Now getting back to flying, I have just joined a flying club down here 😎

                              Regards Ray

                                Hi Ray

That's the trouble with twins, loose one engine and next second you have an uncontrollable spin and a plane shaped hole in the ground.

The problem is that any engine can let you down and its a roll of the dice every time you fly.

I prefer Super Tigre 2000 (25cc) engines, a bit old fashioned but they never let me down.

                                Paul
