Hi Mike and BobA,
A really big thanks for your efforts and help. Tried your link Mike and the sample of the plan looked excellent. Just couldn't get to a home page or a check out where I could buy a copy. Even went in cold direct from Google to the web site but couldn't get any sense out of it. Not to worry, see later!
Your link Bob was excellent and yes it did. It will keep me occupied for many more hours yet to come! Did an M1 ever come out of it?
Anyway, I just typed M1 into Google images and this came up!
Job sorted! Got all mi datums' and hull lines. What I do is copy the drawing onto a piece of A4 acetate. Stick it on mi over head projector and you can then trace it at any size you want, A0 whatever. The only trick is to keep everything dead square so there is no distortion. It's mi £20 version of Solid Works!
Planning for the future now need to acquire all the pictures I can of M1 and all the specific M1 books. Also a lot of gallon oil cans and a shed load of solder!
Just as an aside, paint ball guns are not cheap! Need to make an inexpensive naval version. I'm sure the trick will be the release valve for the CO2. Yesterday played with some olive oil capsules a bit of copper pipe and the air line. The capsules have a nice 8mm calibre. Changed the oil for food colouring with a hypodermic and shot them down the tube. Outstanding, non damaging results!
As you can see mi mind is racing on this job but it's 12 months down the line and I must not lose sight of Resurgam.
Thanks for your help.
Len
