Hi All

A few more deck planks and found a battery operated Christmas LED set with 17 and half foot of cable and 50 LEDS.

$5au without the 3 AA batteries.

A plane deck looked a bit boring and so I added a bit of flare !!!

Harry. You like your gaudy decks I must say. Very nice though, and as you say, it is French…

Everyone should be buying battery xmas lights now, for that future project. I like the ones that use fine uncoated wires and have the led as just a little blob along the run, as they don't have to be oriented to shine, unlike the plastic wire covered sort.

I have a few sets of lights and cut off the end one to see if all the other ones still work !!

YES !!

So the plan is to have one set for the wheelhouse and another set for the hull which only required about six LEDS.

50 LEDS puts out too must light for the boat and I did what to add more ballast !!

Hi All

Deck is finished and warm weather for the next week(20 to 30 degrees) so two coats of wood sealer and a few coats of matt vanish on the deck.

I helps with 21 and 28 degrees in two days!!!

Maybe I can hide the boat between all the Huntsman's !!!!

Finished the panelling on the wheelhouse with a coat of wood sealer.

Added some yellow/white LEDs which are too bright at present, but with tinted windows will calm it down.

I don't think you will be able to hide it amongst the Huntsman's Harry. You might have more luck in the sweet shop!

A coat of Fairey dust and dropping the voltage of the LED's from 4-5 to 3 volts.

Well she's back on the workshop bench to get finished !!!

All the windows in the wheelhouse and the top hand rail on the bulwarks.
