i am currently building paul freshneys hms kite.i have april and may copies of mb.would like to obtain copies of the articles in june and july mb on hms kite.i will cover all costs related to for same. thanks

Model boats has a back issues dept., contact details on page 4 of any MB magazine, and if it doesn’t have them for sale then either photocopies of specific articles can usually be provided or scanned PDF’s generated. If they are told the issue required either by date or number, then if all else fails we can source them easily, because as is so often the case, we know a man who knows a man who has got them all back to year dot.

thank you mr. freshney for your reply.a kind gentleman here in canada,has sent copies of the articles to myself.your model of hms kite is most impressive.i have only built my ships in 1/96 scale,so this is a new challenge for myself.it will also help the sorry old eyes when planking decks.i build mostly victorian era warships,as here in alberta,canada,they are never seen,and i also just love the colour schemes.i have been looking at hms kite ever since i saw the pictures from the  model enginering exhibition where you won the silver medal.thanks again very much   dennis kaye
