Hi John,

While not the Hardy, The Hobby Centre in Nepean, Ontario, Canada sells plans of the HMCS Assiniboine in their online store. She was formerly HMS Kempenfelt. Scale is 1/96. Nicely drawn with hull sections for static and rc models. On their website, look under the "Vanguard" tab.

Shipcraft No 11 "British destroyers A-I and Tribal classes" by Les Brown has a 1/700th elevation and plan as originally built.

Thanks for that. Was the speed of the Assiniboine really only 12k? Surely that's not right

Hi John,

Happy to help. According to Wikipedia, she was clocked at 36 knots. That was probably on trials and not after a couple of years afloat with all the marine growth on the hull. That being said, she would still have a speed much higher than 12 knots.
