help selling

My parents are trying to sell a model boat of the riva aquarama. The model was made by besp-oak furniture and they say they bought in for a few hundred pounds back around 2012. It's about 35 inches long and looks nearly identical to the authentic model BV version of it.

I cannot find this specific make of the boat online anywhere, have no idea what the value is (i only know that other models of this boat of a similar size sell for around £500), or where i could go about selling it. If anyone could give some information that may help then that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lauren,

Looking at the Besp Oak website it seems unlikely that the model was made by the company which is a trade only emporium sourcing procucts from many different places.

Many of these decorative models are made in China and the Far East . There are lots of new or second hand similar models listed on EBay where you can get an idea of likely value:

I think that these come in different grades of quality from the same manufacturer. The cheaper ones are made from something similar to MDF. They are ornaments.
