Profile Morskie do publications on the Roberts and the Abercrombie. They also supply 1:200 drawings via email for 10 Euros.
Couple of points to be aware of:-
1) The drawings are in A4 sections within the PDF
2) The document is copy protected and it is not possible to save out the individual drawings. I can’t see why they have done this as it is possible to do a screen dump, import into a graphics package and crop out the drawing. It’s just more hassle for the purchaser.
3) Each sheet is stamped with the purchasers name within the body of the drawing
I have produced 1:100 drawings from both the paper and electronic versions of Morskie publications by either scanning or importing each sheet to Photoimpact XL and rescaling. I then ‘stitch’ the individual sheets together on screen to give me a single sheet drawing. I’m sure that you could get this printed at a copy shop but I haven’t tried this yet. Photoimpact has an option to print ‘poster’ on individual sheets and I then stick them together. It would obviously be easier to just stick together prints from Adobe but Photoimpact prints with registration marks and overlap which makes the final job easier in my opinion. I got the graphics package as freeware on a disk from the supermarket for just a couple of pounds and find it really useful. I believe it is also downloadable from the Web.
Final note to a long winded post. Morskie do a deal of the day where two of their PDF drawings are offered at a discounted rate, usually 7 Euros each. I think Roberts and/or Abercrombie have previously been on offer but it stands to reason they will come up again.
Hope this helps.
