I have always been a fan of Glynn Guest's plans and have build quite a few of his stand off scale warships. Here is USS Bodega bay I have build. Not far from being finished.

Nice work Karl, thanks for sharing it with us. I don't know where you live but in August there is to be a celebration of Glynn's designs at the Haydock Racecourse model boat show. If you are within travelling distance then it would be well worth bringing your model along.

I am down Bristol way but I will try my best. If it wasn't for Glynn's designs I never would of got into model ships. Three years ago after being injured in Afghanistan and not being able to leave the house much. Building from his plans where the only thing which kept me remotely sane!

Here are two more I have built from his plans.

Glynn has some more designs in the pipeline but not all warships.

I hope you are making a good recovery, your Internet references indicate that you are active in pursuing a new career and in supporting Veterans for Peace.

Yes indeed, I don't think there is much more relaxing than sitting a shaping a balsa hull!

I look forward to seeing his new designs Colin. I am getting there in regards to recovery. Keeping yourself busy is the name of the game. Thank you for kind words Gents.
