So today's deliberate mistake.

Took boat off shelf to get ready for a run at the pond tomorrow. Put receiver battery on a full cycle to discharge then recharge. Go back later to find disconnect fault. Try various connections, no different. Try different chargers, no different. Remove battery holder, curse swear, notice one battery expanded out of its casing.

Then I finally notice they are non-rechargeable batteries.

Ah! We have a few non-rechargeable battery makes that LOOK like rechargeables. You have to be careful.

An easy mistake to make, ish…..sort of….now and then…
