I have received some great help from the 8th destroyer squad, and other kind hearted soles, many thanks.

Now I can start building the c class destroyer Charity.

At 1:96 scale it will be around 45"long x 4 1/4" beam. build time at present will be around two years.

I was going to build it at 1:72 scale but decided the size was unreasonable to transport in my car!, after building an oil tanker at 96 scale I'm realising just what size is reasonable, I bought a torpedo 800 for the tanker, and added a fuse holder, it is just about finished.
