      Hi All

In Feb 2021 I asked for advice on what to do with an old Bowman Peggy Steam Boat. Following the comments I set about stripping it down and renovating it. I tried to keep it looking as original as possible. I really enjoyed the process of bringing it back to life.

Once completed I wanted to get it in the water. Looking around locally I found the Easliegh and District Model Boat Club. Great bunch of people. They helped with testing the boiler for safety and using their pond. I added a temporary RC rudder to keep it under some control. It performed well on the day.

Anyway the reason for this post is what to do with it now. It is not really a passion of mine and I don't want it to just gather dust again in the garage. I have no idea really what it is worth and if anybody might be interested in buying it. It could go on eBay but I would like it to go somebody who might appreciate it.

Thanks for reading this and any help with finding a home for it would be great.

I will create an album with some pics.

      Nigel

Bowman launches are still very collectable. If it were mine I wouldn't use ebay, I'd contact a reputable auction house and put it in a specialist sale. Back when I was working, Tennants of Leyburn had annual model sales and had buyers from all over the world, a very reputable company. You could contact them for some help.

Thanks for the reply Charles. I had not thought of an auction and I will get in touch with them and see what they think. I will post an update.
