I recently renewed my Model Boats subscription on-line after I received a letter from John Cundell which said I would get a discount and my renewal would effective in July 2007. Imagine my surprise when the reply from Magicalia’s subscription department indicated the renewal would be effective in April. This means I get to pay for two previously subscribed issues twice, and my new subscription ends two months earlier than in the past. Lucky me. After receiving no satisfaction from my first e-mail message querying the situation, I attached a scanned copy of the letter to my second rebuttal and the E-mail police blocked the message from arriving until I personally requested its delivery ! Still no resolution to date.
I really like the magazine, but if the process is not user friendly (and costs me money as well), then perhaps I can do without it.
