              Hello z

I would start with the owners club www.batesstarcraft.co.uk

Or failing that ask someone like Paul (the fat controller) to produce a set of basic cad drawings for you.

                Hi,
Thanks for the reply, how would a set of drawings be produced from only pictures?

                  hello Z

In simple terms you require at least 3 clear images (side, end & plan) of the boat.
Import the images into the cad programme and then trace them………after tracing remove the images and you are left with outline drawings.

Now its down to your experience of model building to take the basic information to produce a set of working drawings.

Its not hard to do and you dont need to be a computer wizz to do it, in fact all the computer does is enable the rapid change of scale.

                  Hope this helps

                  Paul

I have deleted an earlier post by Z where the very long URL he posted was causing the Forum text to go underneath the adverts column.

You should be able to access the same images here: http://www.line-design.co.uk/renovation.html
