Barnett Class RNLI plans

Hi I have just got a 1/12 models by design Hull and superstructure but I could do with some plans and places to get the window surrounds from

i think you might have got the class of lifeboat mistaken, or the scale, Colin……..as the only 1:12 scale Barnett class hull and cabin set thay i know of is one I produced of the Mk 1 "Stromness" class 51' Barnett.

Models by Design did do a Barnett mk 2 52' Barnett, but this was either 1;16th or 1;20 class and was about 37" long.

Colin – I have never modelled a lifeboat but I have previously purchased a lifeboat window frame set which I modified for one of my models. I would suggest that you look at the website for Macs Mouldings. The site has just been revamped and I find it very user friendly.

My Hull is 51inches by 16.5 inches and has a label on the inside for models by design, it was one of the only ones he done I think ready for production.

could you post a picture of it please Colin, especially around the stern post and rudder stock.
