went well and tryed a new motor set up in Charlock,

Today we, the Abell family, relations and friends are having an exciting trip out!

L S Lowry Barge trip along the Bridgewater canal…..River Irwell……..Manchester Ship canal……To Salford Quays and the Lowry Centre

A nice meal along the way with Champers too!

The dessert course is on the return trip

Hi Bob ,

Enjoy day out on the cut , i remember when they where working highways,

coming from BIRMINGHAM who have more canals than Venice,

canals where my play grounds, learned to swim in gas street basin,

collected coal in the winter, draged the waters for bike bits,

also caught a whale in lock ,yes it wasa bike wheel.

Amy thank you for comments , also have 12th scale one on the go a bit of a gin palac

for dolls house collector, not my type realy prefer working narrow boats,

and no got the bug for a junk hull complete ready for paint,

sails made of drafting film, will look pretty grotte when finished cheers all Larry..
