      Hi
I have just read Damien Feger’s suberb article on his “Tribute to Hornblower” (August 2007). I think the addition of model figures can enhance a model boat so much, giving a real idea of scale. Can anyone give me an address or web site for “Imperial Gallery” figures. Also can you recommend a book on making scale figures using the copper wire method mentioned by Damien. Many Thanks, Colin.

        Hi Colin,

        Imperial Galleries web site
        http://www.hardwick85.freeserve.co.uk/Index.htm

You may also find Historex useful – they mainly deal in figures. I’m sure if you rang them they could recomend a book on figure modeling.

          Hello out there,

Can anyone suggest a site, shop, supplier or manufacturer of 1/200th scale (poss n gauge) WWII German Naval figures that would compliment my next project. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks, Graham

              Hi Kevin,

looked at site http://www.freetimehobbies.com/photo-etch-gold-metal-masters.html Things looked promising so I e-mailed them and they tell me that the 100 naval figures are 1/700 scale and not 1/200th. However they have suggested another link http://www.freetimehobbies.com/ab1shcr.html
which are 1/200th scale figures and made by Aber

              Thanks for the response
              Regards, Graham

Not sure what the differences are but Airfix do a WWII bofors @ 1/76
