Those of you who have read the article in the February issue of Model Boats magazine may be interested to see that there is now a short video of Nessie poated on U tube by Darran Newman of the Goole Model Boat Club. The video was taken last summer on Nessie's second outing to Goole

Just great Gareth! I love the way the tail waggles as if it is propelling Nessie along.

          Thanks for posting this.

                    Larry,

Here is the information you requested. Firstly the power unit water tight box with the lid off.

                    power unit 1.jpg

Here it is with the lid on.

Here inside the base unit below the head.

Now complete with Nessies neck and head.nessie 1.jpg

Finally the wiring diagram. Not quite up to Dave Milbourn's neatness standard but it should be understandable.

Andy`s croc uses a very simple boat underneath the head. It is made with vertical sides, and the lid id simply taped on over the hatch area with waterproof clear tape. He has the normal arrangement of just one prop and rudder. In use this seems to perform ok. The boat is just jammed up into the head in a recess.

BUT I like the ready made box idea, very easy, and also has a clear lid to check water ingress or whatever.
