I NEED TO CONTRA ROTATE THE PROPS ON MY 1″–1FT MTB AND AM HAVING DIFFICULTY LOCATING SPUR GEARS

APPROX SIZE

50m/m DIA

6mm THICK

6-8 mm BORE

I DID FIND A COMPANY IN WOOTTON BASSETT, WILTS BUT HAVE NOW LOST THEIR ADDRESS ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Hi James try RS components http://uk.rs-online.com/web/, they do have a mail order site somewhere however if you go to the above site and search spur gears they have a large stock

Best place for the gears you want is HPC Gears in Chesterfield.

It’s not what you asked for but the 5.5 Mb pdf download shgmodels catalogue Has moulded nylon gears on a brass hub with grub screw.The .75 module ones on page 26 are described as 2mm bore but I could swear they were 2.3mm.

HPC is the place, I bought some gears from them for the winder on my rubber band boat. The little book/catalogue they have has to be seen to be believed. Ashley
