      Hello Everyone.

I intend to power my receiver with a 5v BEC connection from a Action Electronics P92 Power Board rather than a separate 4.8v battery pack. Also, my two ESCs also have 5v BEC connectors. Will connecting these three BEC connectors to the receiver cause overload?

Also, since I'm using two 6v 14Ah SLE batteries to power the model will these maintain the necessary 5v to the receiver for a usable duration or will I notice a rapid voltage reduction?

Sorry that these are simple questions but I don't want to damage to my new receiver.

      Many thanks,

      Paul.

You MUST disable the BECs in both speed controllers by removing the Red lead from the receiver plugs. See Disabling BECs here **LINK**

The 5v volt output will remain regulated at that value until the voltage of the batteries falls below 5.5v. With batteries this big that will take a long time.

            Thanks for your reply Dave.

I had a sneaking suspicion that it wouldn't be as easy as simply plugging in the ESC receiver leads!

            Thanks again,

            Paul.
