I know there is a colour code for each of the 27Mhz frequencies and wondered if you can buy coloured ribbons/flags for the transmitter antenna so that others can see what frequency you're using. If so, where?

Hunter Systems sells them as do SLEC, just Google the company names and they will show up on the websites.

Use coloured bits of cloth, or paint some.. I use felt as we have loads of it.

Fold and glue a small oblong of bike inner tube rubber together just catching the end(s) of the flags, and when dry pusha small slot through the rubber with a knife. This fits over the end of the antenna and grips securely.

Afternoon all, you can usually get pieces of ribbon from the sewing box in your local market for next to nothing. Super glue the ends to stop it from fraying , you can even stencil your frequency on them. Also by doubling one end over and gluing it to itself you can make a loop and then just slip it over you antenna .
