Evening all, I've just seen that there is a programme on BBC4 tonight at 8-00 titled Scotland's vital spark: the Clyde puffer. Could be worth setting your recorder for.

Yes, it was a great program. I loved the footage of the side- on launch. Also, another restored puffer will be taking to the water soon.

If anyone, like me, can watch BBC Four directly but cannot use the BBC iPlayer (which is not available outside the UK), there is a re-run scheduled for late tonight, 11 pm GMT (i.e.midnight over here on the continong).

I was most vexed to have missed it on Thursday — we had friends over for dinner so I didn't read the forum that night until it was too late.
