Both these steam tugs are well worth a visit to the Port Natal Maritime Museum in Durban South Africa.

J.R. More Clyde built in Glasgow 1961 and one of the very last big steam tugs built. Received the last steam engines from Rankin & Blackmore, Greenock before closure.
        ULINDI built in Leith 1927.

J.R. More is a wonderful looking tug and well worth scratch building.
Plans of F.C. Sturrock (available in the Hobbystore) an earlier sister ship can be adapted accordingly, main difference is J.R. More is twin rudder and has some differences on the bulwarks forward and aft.

Both these tugs are well worth a visit to Durban and sunny South Africa and the support will also help to preserve these last remaining big steam tugs.

More details on these and other SAR@H tugs can be found at http://www.allatsea.co.za/jrmore.htm
