Not so much of a loss, the interesting bit is still with me and has actually reverted back to its original state, ie, a toy to play with on the carpet.

The hull was only a bodge job to get it floating and whereas it looked the part on the water you wouldn’t want to see inside. I still have the other one which is basically the same thing but better.

Tugs…not many at Bushy! But I get your point. It would then still occupy room, which was the main reason for dismantling it.

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum.

As you may have gathered, the deck and superstructure was made to sit on the floor (carpet) and originally did not have a Hull.

A Hull was made for it later on using hardboard, covered in fibreglass below the waterline and using a single shaft.

There was a convenient lip on the underside around the underside deck edge, and the Hull was made to fit inside this lip. The weight held it quite securely in place.
