Looking for a 500 – 600 size alloy motor mount which has motor mounting holes at 25mm centres.

Manufactured by Anglian Model Centre (before they went out of business) and supplied by e.g. Cornwall Model Boats and EBay sellers.

Chris – If you have no luck finding one, consider making one from extruded aluminium angle, with plenty of choice available of on eBay. I use the same material for holding parts at right-angles during assembly. David Marks

Easy peasy making one from alloy angle. A bit of basic marking out and drilling ‘oles. Use a steel one as a template (if available) and drill mounting screw holes 1/2mm oversize.

20 mins work , excluding tea break.

Yeah, wouldn't be too difficult I know. Would have thought this was quite a common mount and just a case of finding one tucked away!
