Hi LB. I know you are a long time fan of the Ecranoplan. It is unfortunate you are a long way away, and sorry but I will not be near NH on Saturday! Google says it is about 1h 45mins away from me.
Unless you want to detour a bit, and as it is a bit big to post (box size 850x600x330) I would be prepared to make you a part-build one, from Styrofoam, ready shaped, that simply needed the nose, wings, tailplane and motor mount glueing together, and a bit of sanding if you would want to refine it a bit more. As it will be hand crafted it will not be identical to mine, but virtually the same!! There is a snap of the parts I had to cut out in my album, however yours would be glued together!
Items to be supplied by yourself to complete…paint, motor, prop adaptor, prop to suit, ESC, RCVR, small servo and control rod.
I didn't bother, but scope would exist for making the wings positionable for best performance and to stop it taking off vertically (depending on motor/batt combination).
Its funny but there is absolutely no torque reaction problem to these Ecranoplans, unlike several other hitherto unseen projects which suffer , some worse than others. Perhaps they are just to fast.
