Giving away Billing Boat Dana 200 kit

Hi everyone,

I received this modelling kit as a gift. I have tried to build it and bought few things, but I am really not enjoying it. So, rather than throwing it all in the rubbish bin, I wonder if anyone would want it.

What I have done so far: glued the hull (it's a plastic one) and paint it, glued the lifeboat onto the little supports and onto the middle hatch, glued the hatch to the boat. That's it. Everything else is still to be done. Oh, and I varnished the other hatches. I thought that was what I was supposed to do, not too sure now.

The ONLY thing I would ask is £10 for P&P. Or, if you're in London, we can arrange to meet up and then it would really be free.

I buy / sell and build boats for charity and your kit will fetch a handsome price and subsequent donation after being built.

Yes I still have it, and I'm glad it would do some good for some charity.

Do you live in London? I'm in Sydenham, near Crystal Palace and Forest Hill, and I work in the City. Either area would be good for me.

Unfortunately I'm not that close as I live in a place called Lymm which is near Warrington. I would have to take you up on your postage offer however if its any help I can arrange for a courier to collect the kit.

The charity is the Parkinsons Society

Hi Giulio

The package arrived this morning in perfect condition.

From reading your description I was expecting a box full of half glued scraps of timber but the work that you have done is fine and I am pleased to say a lot better than the work that some self proclaimed experts produce.

I might undo some of your work by splitting the deck from the hull simply to facilitate the installation of a motor and radio control equipment.

Thank you again for the fantastic donation, I will post progress photos of the build but like I said it will be a few weeks before I can start.
