As part of a garage clearout I need to dispose of two surplus boats which have been lurking in the recesses for many years:
A Modav Huntsman 31. This is a largely completed kit originally intended for i/c but in a rather poor superficial condition although sound enough with a bit of TLC and repainting It has a GRP hull and is fitted with shaft, rudder prop and pickup plus various odd bits inside the hull. I also have a very moth eaten plan that came with the kit. The boat was given to me by an ex neighbour many years ago as an alternative to binning it.
The other one is a GRP Thames Barge hull with deck which was originally moulded by Steve Kirby back in the 1970s. To the best of my memory it was constructed to 150% of the Will Everard plans still sold by MyHobbyStore. The bottom of the hull has a bracket for attaching a false keel but this can be removed if required. It would make a very good basis for anyone wanting a barge without having to build the hull. Hull length is 35 inches.
Both boats are free to a good home although a small donation to the RNLI would be nice. However I don't want the hassle of packing and posting them so it is either collection from me in SW Surrey (near Guildford) or I can bring them to the Warwick show on the Friday.
PM me if interested, if no interest in next few days i will offer them on Mayhem.
Colin
