      Dear All

I am on the lookout for a minimum 1/16 scale but ideally a larger 2.4GHZ RC tank.

It doesn't have to be new but it must be working or an easy repair.

      I don't need the transmitter.

Please pm me if you know of such a beast.

Also needed A LARGE RC Helicopter IC or electric but must be minimum 1m long

      Paul

                  Hi Paul

I think you know, that I know what they are. They of the green beret use them, nice piece of kit. I would think it's going to be some size. The best of luck with your new project

                  Regards Curly surprise

At 1/16 scale the LCAC would be over 2m long and very impressive.

But its NOT why I am after a tank and helicopter.

                      Hi Paul

The green boys run a smaller one the Griffin, they used it in the Gulf, single German engine.

                        Dear All

I am happy to say that I have got a nice protech zoom 400 helicopter and now looking for a Sikorsky CH53E Super Stallion body for it.

Still on the lookout for a couple of 1/16 scale RC Abrams M1 Tanks for the project that I am NOT doing.

Thats a lot of tank for a NOT project !

I am confused here, the double entendre negative. I think this is going to be a landing ship of some sort, perhaps a new experimental type.

Ashley (has built more landing craft than is healthy)

I do have a design called FALCON (future armoured landing craft offshore naval) which is quite chunky at 1/16 scale

                            future landing craft.jpg

But this isn't it as there is NO project.

                            Paul

Is a double entendre some sort of posh drink?

Just in case there's any doubt, my sadly flat little posting was a schoolboy play on the words "double end tender". It was not intended as a threat of violence towards Paul Thomason nor an expressed wish that someone else would do the deed. There are no prizes offered to anyone who might have the same warped sense of humour and I have no intention of trying to be funny or dragging a subject so wildly off-topic again. My apologies are offered to anyone who was offended or upset by anything I said or implied.

I add a disclaimer to my posts when adding ADULT HUMOUR or even obscure Ashley humour, or personal views which may be construed to be a bit know-it-all or even just WRONG.

I have no time for folk who prefer to read between the lines instead of what is written on them, and I have no intention of apologising in advance should anyone be in any doubt that my intentions are anything other than to be helpful – or perhaps even funny on occasion. In future I shall leave the 'funnies' to those not suspected of having ulterior motives. WYSIWYG.

Whats all this about apologising…………you and I (and Ashley) all have the same sense of humour and I wasn't offended in any way.

I did get your feeble joke and whilst it was a pitiful attempt at humour it was, given your previous track record, a good effort.

nb. for the feeble minded who cant grasp wit I can confirm that this is an insult…..and for those who are blessed with more than one brain cell you can bask in the warmth of a double double entendre.

                                          Ashley

If I were to suffer the ignominy of a mid life crisis I hope that I could aim higher than an American two wheeled divan, because just like their beer and cars a Harley is all show and no go.

                                          Dear All

Apologising now seems mandatory if any attempt is made at humour, just in case those who assume the responsibility for being offended on behalf of everyone else want to pick a fight. Ashley now even apologises globally in advance. I get the feeling that making even a feeble joke on here these days is akin to breaking wind in church. It won't happen again, vicar.

There are also those, of course, to whom the concept of making an apology – even in the face of overwhelming evidence that they were completely wrong and bang out of order – appears to be completely alien. No names, no pack-drill, but they know who they are.

                                            It's all rather sad.

The biggest mistake people make on Forums is to assume that everyone else shares their sense of humour, especially when vigorous language is used. Then they get upset and cannot understand when their jokes or plain speaking which are honestly meant and in no way intended to give offence can get misinterpreted which, as people may recall, is exactly what happened on another recent previous occasion. Both sides retired, hurt, deeply affronted and absolutely convinced they were in the right!
