Hello,
I’m posting on behalf of my Dad, Peter.
We wanted to try to get some feedback/interest in a 1:200 model of the Bismark.
A little over 3 years ago he fashioned a corner of the living room which is now affectionately known as the ‘dockyard’, (much to Mum’s dismay) but now it seems it’s finally ready for launch.
I’m guessing but I think that some of you are aware of the Hatchett Partwork/Amati magazine kit builds. Some may spit and walk away because it’s not a scratch built but others would still appreciate the patience of waiting for monthly parts but overall the tenacity of constructing the wooden hull right through to to the gold paint on the prop.
Although I know it has all the R/C gear I can’t add any other technicalities.
I’ve uploaded some admittedly hurried photos to the gallery.

*There are apparently two other boats lurking if of interest; an MGB ‘Bombardier’ and a Czech Custom vessel (not entirely sure of the details)
