I have built a “V”4 steam engine from Peter Arnott’s plan in a series of Model Boats but I only had up to October 1993.

The boiler to run the thing is in the only issue I don’t have ie November!! I would like to complete this project, so if anyone will either sell me a copy, or email a copy of the plan feature I would be very happy. – email address :- [email protected]

The boiler was covered over 9 pages in the November and December 1993 issues. I can scan them for you but maybe photocopies might be better, whichever you prefer.

Thank you most sincerely again Colin.

this is exactly what I need. I am sure my end result will be nowhere near the perfection achieved by Peter, but one does the best one can.

I was happy, and surprised that the V4 ran on air at my first attempt albeit somewhat roughly. It went smoother after some adjustments.

I did not fit the water pump, and slightly changed the steam chests but by and large stuck to the original design.
