Could this be your winter build ? Conserver is a Model Slipway kit ( no longer manufactured, I think) consisting of a high quality GRP hull 29” x 91/2” with white metal fittings, die cut and printed styrene parts. Complete with plans and instructions, she is described as being suitable for ‘average modellers’.

A little work has been done, by me : the positions of the portholes have been marked, and one only has been cut out. Other than that, the kit is as it came from Westbourne Model Centre.I never got to finish it because my daughter was born, my wife became ill, and so on.

This will build into a high quality, accurate scale model with excellent handling on the water ( a great regatta boat) without years and years of effort !

Price : £80.00

Postage : £20 (sorry, but it is a large, heavy box) , or collection in person welcome from Portishead.

Hi Mark – not sure if my first reply would have reached you or not, so I am sending another, just in case. Yes, the kit is still for sale ; sorry but the ‘insert image’ function is not working, otherwise I would include a photograph – if you could let me have your email address I can send you some pictures.
