Hi

I have a half finished model boat collection of around 5 boats that i have inherited.

At the moment they are gathering dust when im sure some enthusiast would really appreciate them and have the time to complete them.

They include (pics at bottom)

HMS Victory (1040mm)

Le Hussard 1848

An Armoured Launch 1803 (620mm)

Not sure what the black two are.

There is also alot building parts for them ranging from wood to small brass fittings.

Original instructions all seem to be there too.

So looking to find someone that would be interested in them.

Im back, sorry for the delay.

From looking around I was looking for £250 + postage (but would really not recommend it) if necessary for the lot.

The collection and half built models would make an idel project for any serious model builder but having looked at the photos in some detail I am worried that there might be some parts missing, but I appreciate that you might not have included everything in the photos. Could you take a few more photos and spread the parts out a little bit more?

Another consideration would be picking up the collection so it would help if we knew where you lived but please don’t post your address (light fingered Larry might be watching) an approx location will be fine.

Sorry to ask so many questions but the money that you are looking for would be a huge bite out of my limited income and so I really need to know exactly what is involved.

Not a problem.

I live very close to Manchester airport.

I will post some extra picture on the weekend, unfortunetly its the only time i really have to be able to do so.

Hi Alex

I have hit a problem today with the turbo unit on my truck so I am sorry to say that all of my cash now has to go to fixing the thing.

I am sure that someone else will buy these models though as they are perfect for a dedicated model boat builder.

I hope that they are still available but that is no help to you, at the moment I am looking at a £600 repair so it will be some time before I have any free cash for my boat building.

You could try placing a free advert in Model Boat mag….
