You should have got your subscription copy of the magazine by now so you can see from part 1 of Dave's article just exactly what is entailed in building the model and decide if you are happy to tackle it. Looks pretty straightforward to me and Dave makes particular reference on how to tackle the compound curves at the bow.

Errors in the Plans Service are not Paul's province either. I need to check who is currently responsible as there have been recent changes and, to be honest, changing one minor typo in the description is not the first priority in my busy schedule today. (actually there are two typos!) Unfortunately the Plans Service descriptions do contain a number of grammatical and descriptive mistakes and they are corrected as and when somebody draws attention to them.

I removed a number of posts to tidy up the topic as they were not directly relevant and were cluttering it up.

Like Paul, I found Dave's part 1 article on the Huntsman to be very good and an excellent example of how to go about what is a traditional and very satisfying means of model boat construction.

There is something wrong somewhere!

Up till about three weeks ago, I had access to the Online digital archives

Then access ceased

I noticed then, that Pockermags sent me a receipt for £9.99" dated 5th Nov 15

I have not ordered the Digital mag from Pocket Mags…….But I just went along with it….For an easy life

I now read in your post, that the contact for the Modelboats Mag is dealt with by Beth Ashby…….The same person I've been exchanging emails with, this morning?

I have sent an Email to Beth, but she has probably gone home now

Can you make any sense out of this?

I glimpsed the Mag this morning, but no access to the Archives……Then the Mag went into…….Download mode…..To date, only 30% has downloaded in about 8 hours!

If you can't help, I'll sort it out with Beth, no problem

In my post earlier I referred to the Plans Service and Myhobbystore website. I did not mention subscriptions.

If you email one of them directly, cc the other and include all the information likely to be needed, ie your address, phone number, subs number if you know it,+ to whom and when payment was made, then they should be able to resolve.
