I like getting the new issue preview emails.

But mine always come though like this….

"Dear Example Firstname,

Welcome to your preview of the latest Model Boats magazine, which this month includes a full-size Free Plan designed by Glynn Guest for Skimmer 5/600."

Am I the only one this happens to??

Hmm!

These are sent out by Patrick Astill, so I will say sorry on his behalf – and I will draw his attention to it, although I guess 'Example Firstname' would be a truly unique name on a credit card.

Looks like the message last month didn't get through! What is supposed to happen is that the name of the subscriber should be plucked from the database and substituted but of course you all knew that!

I've sent the people concerned another reminder.
