A personal thanks to Grumpy and Charles Oaten.Gentlemen and fellow boaters i thank you very much fr your kindness and help in allowing me to build something that has now doubled in size from the original also thanks to Vic Smeed for drawing the plans to start and if my ex girlfriend ever got hold of you she would certainly have a few words to say to you about me having my 2 young daughter out the shed with me quite happily sanding down bits and pieces of wood in their dressing gowns and nighties when they should have been in bed !!!!But the look on their faces was priceless when it took to the water ad then it " dad can you make this or that and one of my friends wants this or that" .I had the pleasure and pride to take my perkasa MTB into my girls class when she was in primary school and the children had a million and one questions about it.
I hope that it may have inspired another generation to keep our well loved hobby alive and get kids back to praptical skills.I was liucky as my dad was a cheif engineer in the royal navy .Anyway thanks again to all who helped my dream come true, she’s no muesuem piece but i’m pleased and reckon it will look good on the water
Many thanks
Andy from Cardiff
