No explanation needed. I asked politely that a line be drawn under the discussion but people carried on posting regardless. It wasn't a helpful discussion in many respects either. There is no useful mileage in negatively comparing one forum against another, especially when the opinions turn on people's personal preferences.

Appreciate that Colin I did see that when you posted it whilst agree with your action, a ''Sorry, but the thread cannot be found'' on responding to the notification not really relevant why not Thread now removed or similar.

Basically because I'm busy doing other things right at the moment! I am not directly employed by MTM and monitor the forum very much on a part time basis. I take your point though. In 8 years or so looking after the forum I have only pulled topics on half a dozen occasions at most so probably not much harm done.

I did ask that the topic be put to bed and it is a bit irritating when people don't seem to take any notice as you can appreciate.
