Chaps and chappesses. Now and again, like I am sure you all do, I have a scan through the albums and new photos that have been added to the forum

Sometimes, and we all do it, we add a picture to illustrate a point..something odd or out of context maybe to what you might expect to see in an album.

Some albums are labelled "tug Marlborough" or something and all the pictures are of this vessel .

To get to the point. Too many pictures have no caption . I look at something in an album which might contain several types of boats and..nothing..no name..scale..details length/motor/age. Frustrating sometimes.

I can understand the pictures posted to illustrate a point having a minimal caption, as the forummer will have looked at this picture in context with the post, but for the rest?

Lets have some more info please!! I know there is not a lot of room for details.. but a few titbits would be nice.

I wondered about a DUKW but they are too common for me to have a go at.(assume you mean duk or???)
