Afraid it doesn't work with me. That is what I have been doing. Once upon a time it worked, but no longer. I selected this picture at random, but it doesn't come as a link!

Afraid I need more concise instructions.     This is the only site I have problems with in this respect!

When I went to edit your post, I highlighted the link and it became active so not sure what the problem is. However, the intended way is to click on the Link icon on the second row of editing options when you are composing a post. You will then get a window which invites you to paste the link into the URL box – this usually seems to work OK.

Thanks, I have now found the strange looking link icon on the 2nd row, but there was nothing to suggest to me what it was from the icon itself! I was mislead by seeing the link under the image icon!

We live and learn!
