Paul, I cannot tell a lie! It is my beloved Daughter Zara who is in fact a professional journalist and much more qualifed than me! She has inherited my love of ships, passed down from my Dad to continue the family tradition.

She is not a modelmaker but has connections with the RN having served in the RN training unit while at University during which she experienced a drop from a helicopter onto HMS Grafton and a rather terrifying trip down Channel in a full gale in one of the University training vessels. As you can see from the August issue, she has an eye for a good picture and an interesting article so Paul Freshney was happy to run the piece. She also had a short article published about HMS Invincible a little while back so it isn't her first appearance in the magazine.

And yes, she is much better looking than me!
